Tender description

As directed by the director of the Sport Ireland Institute, deliver support services to specified high performance sports in the following areas of sports physiology: 1) Strategic leadership of the institute’s sports physiology service; 2) Manage the work of other sports physiology consultants that may be contracted by the institute to deliver services; 3) Develop and deliver physiological monitoring and testing programmes; 4) Provide expert guidance to coaches in developing physical training programmes; 5) Develop strategies to enhance and maximise performance in challenging environmental conditions; 6) Collaborate with other consultants to deliver expert multi-disciplinary support services; 7) Lead the research and development agenda for sports physiology at the institute; 8) Contribute to knowledge sharing and development across the Institute and high performance sports to support the development of world-class sport physiology services.
