Mobile connectivity requirements

Tender description

We are looking for one Supplier to deliver the provision of mobile voice and data services, and as a minimum, the ability to: • Provide a significant cost saving based on the current contract. • Manage & resource the transition from the current provider to another if required. • Provide a reliable mobile phone network primarily across Kingston upon Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire which delivers reliable and uncongested Voice & 4G Data networks and the ability to move to 5G as and when it becomes available. • Provide a private data APN which is assured to IL2 for the sole use of Hull City Council users. • Allow for the ability to ‘pool’ all data connections. • Supply an fund as part of the lifetime of the contract so that aging and faulty handsets can be replaced. • Provide management & control software which allows the following: o The ability to securely manage devices over the mobile network (including CCTV). o Device Bandwidth management (reports, quotas, caps etc). o VPN services. o Mobile access control. o Content filtering (eg, the ability to control access to particular services such as Youtube). • Provide a Service desk facility for reporting of faults/changes/orders. • Provide comprehensive monthly reporting.
