GB-Lichfield: 700005374 - Provision of Taxi Service for DMS Whittington

Tender description

The Authority has a requirement for the provision of a Taxi Service. The proposed Contract shall be for a period of 3 years, commencing 1st November 2019 and ending 31st October 2022. The successful Service Provider shall provide a Taxi Service for the transportation of Serving Personnel. The service is predominantly for out of hours cover, including weekends, but not exclusive to these timings. The Service Provider shall provide taxis suitably sized for the journey (inclusive of bags) as requested by the Authority. The taxi shall arrive on time at the designated pick up points to collect/deliver SP to and from Defence Medical Services (DMS) Whittington. Authorised journeys will include, but are not exclusive to, airport taskings, medical appointments and welfare taskings. Within a 12 month period it is estimated that a total of 335 journey's shall be required, although these figures may fluctuate in accordance with demand.
