Why the Work is Being Done CBT is an online, typed-therapy modality providing easily accessible evidenced-based CBT for those who may encounter a range of barriers to accessing traditional services, for example due to geography, poverty of time, physical difficulties or personal boundaries. Embedding ieCBT within existing service structures can significantly boost both access and capacity. Problem to Be Solved Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (‘NHFT’). Across the NHFT service, there are constant and considerable pressures to deliver clinically appropriate care to patients in the context of increasing national IAPT access targets and maintaining the standards for waiting times and recovery. These pressures include but are not limited to: • therapist capacity and availability, • patient demand across vast geographical locations, and • provision of out of hours treatment. Early Market Engagement Pilot on going Work Already Done All of the above as per pilot, in various locations/areas: Greater Nottingham, Leicester City, Leicestershire County & Rutland Existing Team Welcome to Let’s Talk –Wellbeing, providing help for people with anxiety, depression and other similar difficulties. Let’s Talk – Wellbeing is available in many different places in the community. How the service works If you are having difficulties such as feeling low, anxious or stressed and would like some help, you can either discuss this with your GP who may arrange a referral to the Let’s Talk –Wellbeing service or you can refer yourself via our online portal at www.iaptportal.co.uk/ ltw.html. You can also visit the Let’s Talk –Wellbeing website for further information at www.nottinghamshirehealthcare.nhs.uk/ letstalkwellbeing Current Phase Live Work Location On-line access from points within Nottingham, Leicester City, Leicestershire County & Rutland. Working Arrangments The provider shall deliver CBT over the internet, meaning the patient can see their therapist from wherever they choose. Online CBT is delivered securely through an online therapy platform. At the time of appointment, patients simply log in and speak to theirr therapist by typing back and forth. Typed conversation removes the pressure of having a face-to-face conversation, and can allow you to express your true, inner feelings. Sessions usually take place once a week and last up to 60 minutes.
