Tender description

Highways England shall award 3 occupational health service contracts in early 2020. The services will maintain compliance with occupational health requirements through evaluation of employee fitness for safety critical roles, provide specialist support to manage sickness absences and timely return to work, and support proactive well-being campaigns to pre-emptively mitigate sickness absence. The contracts are as follows: 1) Highways England Occupational Health Services; 2) Highways England Employee Assistance Programme and Mental Health Services; 3) Highways England Well-being Services. Occupational health referrals, surveillance and pre-placement medicals. EAP Trauma and psychological services. Support proactive well-being campaigns to pre-emptively mitigate sickness absence.
