Tender description

The Cambridge City Council’s Special Projects team are undertaking a project which will involve converting a disused estate clinic into 4 dwellings comprising 2 two-bedroom flats and 2 one-bedroom flats. The new flats will be situated on the ground floor of a 5-storey block and will have other dwellings above. The current status is a full set of Planning and working drawing have been produced by an Architect. Planning permission has been obtained in principle with 2 minor conditions left to be discharged. The Project is valued circa £400k and the work will be undertaken by the Councils in-house Special Projects Team/DLO with some elements of work such as UPVC window replacement and a small amount of demolition work undertaken by external contractors. The Council anticipates the Project will take 6 months to complete. Keywords: Designer
