Tender description

In the first instance, a contract of 5 years’ duration shall be awarded for the provision of 20 high speed electric drills, 166 attachments and a range of accessories, including all support, maintenance, repair requirements, the replacement of equipment as necessary and the supply of all sterile single use consumables. The Contracting Authority shall remunerate the successful tenderer for the provision of the required equipment through the purchase of sterile single use consumables only; the electric drills and all attachments will be provided by the successful tenderer at no cost and will remain the property of the successful tenderer. Following the expiry of the initial 5‐year contract term, and as a recurring option that may be availed of solely at the discretion of the Contracting Authority, subsequent 1‐year extensions may be awarded until the obsolescence of the initial twenty neurosurgical drills.
