Tender description
SOFT MARKET TESTING Derbyshire County Council are inviting tenders from organisations experienced in the provision of community based housing related support services to people aged 55 and over. The provision is currently known as the Older People’s Floating Support service. The existing service is delivered across the eight district and borough areas of Derbyshire and provides low level housing related support to enable people to live independently in the community. The services also provide an out of hours response and the 24hr Falls Recovery Service (FRS). Funding for the FRS element is additional to the housing related support service but will utilise the same staff teams. We intend to re-procure the service in 2019 with a more outcomes focused approach and rebranded as the Independent Living Support (ILS) service. We also wish to engage with providers on the delivery of the service. Keywords: SSD 19 03
