Spectrum Protect Licencing and Managed Support

Tender description

Staffordshire County Council has appointed a partner to provide a 3 year Backup as a Service for our On-Premise IBM Spectrum Protect Environment. This will provide a 24 x 7 Managed Service, monitoring the environment and ensuring that daily backups are completed to agreed Service Levels. Our current estate is sized at 48Tb, but we are moving to Microsoft O365 during the next 9 months, this will reduce data volumes by approximately 9Tb. It is anticipated that further storage reductions will occur during the contract period until reaching a static level where growth is mitigated by services moving off premise to cloud hosted services and\or infrastructure.
