Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council (the “Authority") is now seeking to award a contract for the receipt, treatment, recovery, recycling and disposal by the Contractor of Contract Waste collected by the authority or on behalf of the authority and delivered to the Contractor. This Contract Waste shall comprise of fractions from domestic and commercial collections, recycling centres and street cleansing (excluding gully waste). A minimum 90 per cent of the Total Contract Waste delivered by the authority (and/or its contractors) in a NILAS Year (or part of a NILAS year, in the case of the first and last years of the contract) is diverted from landfill.
