Recycling & Confidential Waste Collection Service

Tender description

Quotations are invited for the provision of recycling and confidential waste collection service for Malvern Hills District Council. Suppliers will provide suitable lockable slim line confidential bins (specification to be agreed with the Council but ideally slim line bins). Suppliers should provide the specification (including a picture) of the proposed bins that will be provided. Suppliers will be responsible for the emptying of confidential waste bins, the contents are to be shredded, all shredding work undertaken will be within the working practices of BS EN 15713. A full audit trail must be maintained and a certificate of destruction issued. Suppliers will take such security measures as are required to enable it to process the personal data in compliance with the obligations imposed on the customer by the Data Protection Act. Additional sacks and ties to be provided to cover additional confidential waste disposal requirements on an ad hoc basis, i.e. in times of office clear outs and or elections. Suppliers will be responsible for the emptying of the paper recycling bins, the contents to be recycled in accordance BSEN643. Sacks to be provided by the supplier to fit the Council’s existing bins.
