The successful KS1 IEE's will be experts who are required to produce a package of training materials and three assessments exercises. The training package will be used to deliver standardisation training to KS1 local authority moderation teams over a two week period. The training package will include collections of pupils work, commentaries and information slides. Local authority KS1 moderators, following delivery of the training, will complete the assessment exercises. The assessment exercises will include collections of pupils work as well as commentaries. STA are looking for associates who have a strong understanding of KS1 teacher assessment, LA KS1 moderation and expertise in KS1 writing. Experience in these areas is likely to come from an LA or a classroom background, working as an LA moderator, moderation manager or a teacher.
