Tender description

Liverpool City Council are seeking tenders for long term agreements for Liverpool City Council insurance requirements. Broker services are excluded from the tender activity. Successful suppliers will be expected to liaise directly with the existing Broker JLT Speciality. This requirement will be broken down into 3 lots: — lot 1 — motor fleet insurance (including claims handling), — lot 2 — liability insurances, — lot 3 — medical malpractice liability. These contracts are due to commence on 1.5.2019 for an initial period of 3 years, with the option for a further 24 month extension. This lot incorporates the following classes of business: — motor fleet, — this also includes claims handling services. This lot incorporates the following classes of business: — employers liability, — public liability (including libel and slander), — officials indemnity (including land charges and Public Health Act), — professional indemnity, — hirers liability. Legal liability to pay compensatory damages or awards (including claimants’ legal costs and expenses) for any claim. (a) first made against the insured and/or (b) arising out of any circumstance(s) which the insured shall first notify during this period of insurance as a result of any bodily injury caused by actual or alleged malpractice by the insured in the conduct of the business.
