Tender description
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board will be holding the second pre-market engagement session in relation to a planned procurement exercise for the commissioning of Adult Mental Health Services. The event will be held as follows: 12.2.2019 at 9am to approx. 13:00 (inc time allowed for one to one sessions). St Cadocks Hospital, Lodge Rd, Caerleon, Newport, NP18 3XQ. The event will consist on a hour long presentation from the Health Board regarding the commissioning intentions followed by a session seeking feedback and initial thoughts from attendees and then an opportunity for one to one sessions. The Health Board is welcoming input from attendees on how they believe that the service can be best delivered in order to meet the needs. ABUHB are offering the second information session as part of a pre-market engagement event in relation to the planned commissioning of adult mental health services. It is expected that the procurement will commence in 2019 with an anticipated Contract start date of 2020. It is expected that the types of services that will be commissioned will include community advocacy, information advice and assistance and community wellbeing, skills and training. The anticipation is that the contract will be divided into lots, the service specification for each lot will be developed as part of the pre-market engagement and procurement exercise. Please note that this is not an exhaustive description and is subject to change and develop as the procurement process progresses. The event will consist an hour-long presentation from the health board regarding the commissioning intentions for 2020-2023, followed by an open forum/discussion on attendees thoughts and feedback from the presentation. There will then be an opportunity for organisations to pre-book slots with the health board to have a one-to-one session to discuss the procurement, process, etc. The Health Board is welcoming input from organisations on how best they believe that the service can be delivered in order to meet the needs.
