Tender description

This is a PIN to advise the intentions of NHS Chorley and South Ribble CCG and NHS Greater Preston CCG to procure GP extended access services provided to patients within the CCGs geographical footprints, with the potential to integrate with other primary care services. It is currently intended to advertise this opportunity via a Contract Notice in February 2019. The proposed contract commencement date is April 2020. At this stage the estimated value provided in this PIN is an annual value for extended access services only and is based on 100 % coverage based on current list sizes. Currently the CCGs have no intention to divide the contract into geographical lots. The main aims of the service are: To deliver additional capacity in primary care 7 days a week. To allow patients access to both routine and on the day appointments outside of core hours.
