Tender description

This is for West Sussex only. West Sussex County Council (The Authority) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced contractors/service providers who would wish to be considered to tender for their future highways requirements. Core services comprising reactive services, winter services, traffic management, signage, structures maintenance, planned carriageway patching, weed control, tree maintenance and fencing. Provision of carriageway resurfacing works, including TM, lining and studs and option for patching. Provision of carriageway surface dressing works, including TM, lining and studs, option for patching and design services (Road note 39). Provision of lining and road studs, including TM. Provision of carriageway treatments, high friction surfacing, joint treatment, micro surfacing, retexture and carriageway recycling services. Provision of minor works including TM, improvements, footway reconstruction, drainage, general fencing and carriageway patching services. The Council's initial view is that a restricted number of 5 contractors with a priced schedule of rates will be used to assess the most economically advantageous arrangement for each commission. Provision of drainage cleansing services. Provision of hedge maintenance and grass cutting services. Specialist works, incorporating bridge inspections and footway micro surfacing. The Council's initial view is to have a restricted number of contractors that will be approached to provide quotations for each commission.
