Why the Work is Being Done Transformation at FCO Services is unique compared to the private sector and other Government organisations. The mix of highly secure environments and operating in a huge variety of areas from security, infrastructure, estates, logistics to software development is unique and does not lend itself to an off the shelf approach to agile methodology. The project is due to start 01/02/19. Problem to Be Solved FCO Services identified the need to engage with an “agile partner” to support us in our development and transformation, enhancing the continued drive delivering value through the work we do with other Government departments. Who Are the Users Our roles are essential to the safe and secure operation of mission critical Governmental services covering the global estate. To continue this focus FCO Services need the expertise to support and enhance the changes that will reflect the accurate benefits to our customers, colleagues and ultimately the global estate. This requires expertise of agile, agile working and other related disciplines relating to organisational change so that the appropriate advice and action can be recommended and supported at the right time. Early Market Engagement Work Already Done Existing Team The Supplier will be working with the internal ICT Operations Teams of FCO Services - this is made up of 7 Business Pillars who report into the Deputy Director. This is a mix Civil Servants and Contractors. Current Phase Not applicable Work Location Hanslope Park Milton Keynes MK19 7BH Working Arrangments This will be developed and agreed during project initiation. The resources will need to be flexible as this is a dynamic requirement with no set work pattern. Payments will be made monthly in arrears, against a call off arrangement and suppliers will need to provide their man day rates against level and grade. There will be no travel and expenses costs allowed in this engagement. Security Clearance There is a requirement for all individuals to have SC clearance at the start of the project.
