The European Spallation Source (ESS) is a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), a multi-disciplinary research facility based on the world's most powerful neutron source. LOKI is a SANS instrument that will enable scientists to answer the challenging materials science questions of tomorrow in fields from health and aging, to sustainability and energy security. Loki will be designed and prebuilt by STFC. Once completed it will be shipped to the ESS site for installation. The requirement is for the design and supply of material, manufacture, assembly, testing and delivery of 3 XY Jaws Assemblies to STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Included within the scope of work is: • The design of the equipment that is to be supplied • All sourcing, manufacturing and assembly activities associated with the supply of the equipment (unless otherwise stated in Section 2.3 of Appendix A PR19058 LoKI Jaws Specification) • The delivery of the Jaws to the STFC RAL site, and all packaging and handling activities associated with this delivery • Defining, implementing, and documenting the results of, the quality control and assurance plan • The documentation listed in Section 2.2 of Appendix A PR19058 LoKI Jaws Specification • The activities and deliverables needed for the approval steps listed in Section 3.4 of Appendix A PR19058 LoKI Jaws Specification
