This is intended to provide a lifeline and assistive technology assessment, installation and monitoring service including procurement and recycling of equipment. The successful bidder will be expected to work as a development partner with Knowsley to progress innovative technological solutions and projects to enable people within the borough of Knowsley to remain living safely in their own homes and to reduce or delay formal care requirements. The contract will be for a term of 18 months. The Council may extend the contract following the contract period for further periods of time up to a maximum of 12 months in aggregate.
