One of the university’s key strategic goals is to capitalise on the strength of the NUI brand both nationally and internationally. As part of this, NUI strives to maintain high quality circulated material from published lecture events to policy documents and regulation booklets. NUI and its member institutions award in the region of 40,000 qualifications annually. One of the services NUI provides to its member institutions and graduates is to supply the documentation attesting these qualifications. This is prepared on parchment paper of excellent quality offering a high standard of security. NUI requires three types of security paper as follows and invites tenders for the approximate annual amounts as outlined below - A3 Buff 30,000 150gsm - A4 Buff 7,000 150gsm - A4 Light green 5,000 95 gsm The following are compulsory security and technical features for each of the three types of paper required by National University of Ireland: - Controlled watermark paper - Unique security design - Toner secure - Advanced invisible UV - Audit numbering - UV Validate numbering - Thermochromic ink - Microtext - Robust packaging system sufficient to ensure undamaged delivery Submissions shall comprise of: (i) sample documents in accordance with the specifications set out (ii) details of the relevant experience the tenderer has with similar products and educational entities
