Provision of Offsite Sterile Services Decontamination Facility

Tender description

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) is seeking to identify a suitable and capable sterile services partner. The Trust estimates a peak annual throughput of approximately 5 million instruments, including endoscopy scopes. The Trust are looking to move the existing sterile services activity that is currently delivered on the Southampton General Hospital site to an offsite location.The likely term of the contract will be at least 15 years. An expression of interest in this market engagement exercise will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. The subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wishing to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement when published. Please note that this is not a Selection Questionnaire (SQ), we are using this PIN to communicate to interested parties. A decision has yet to be taken as to which procedure will be used for this procurement.
