Tender description

CRCE occupy an owned building at Glasgow. The buildings houses PHE Glasgow's staff and operations within a two storey building. It uses a gas-fired domestic hot water (DHW) heater to provide hot water supply to wash hand basins, domestic and laboratory sinks. The requirement for hot water is a crucial one for health and safety for the majority of staff. The existing DHW has exceeded its operating service life resulting in a deterioration of parts through age and via build-up of mineral deposits within the water vessel which have reduced the effectiveness to discharge consistent domestic hot water temperatures from the unit.
