Tender description

Essex County Council is seeking to re-commission housing related support services for the following cohorts: 1) Housing Related Support: adults with an acquired brain injury, 2) Housing Related Support: adults with learning disabilities. As part of the Council’s pre-market engagement for this project, a soft market test exercise has been developed which seeks to establish the potential level of interest from organisations to deliver this service, and to invite feedback which could be incorporated into the final specification. Prospective candidates are advised that both of these schemes deliver low level support with a view to enabling individuals to secure the requisite daily living skills, build their resilience and develop their confidence to progress onto living independently in the community. Also specifically to ABI service to relearn skills and adapt to living with a brain injury. Please note that the Council is only seeking to commission the support element of these schemes. Prospective providers would be required to ensure that they secure suitable accommodation to deliver these services within Essex from 1.4.2020.
