Essex County Council, in partnership with the named Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups within this contract award notice, engaged the market in a procurement exercise to commission a specialist healthcare tasks service that will provide competency based training and delegation of healthcare tasks to non-health qualified staff working with children and young people up to the age of 19. This service will be provided to a range of staff working with these young people, including SEN School transport providers, identified Essex Social Care staff, short break foster carers and identified or/and education staff and workers supporting young people who access Essex short breaks. Essex County Council, in partnership with the named Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups within this contract award notice, conducted a procurement opportunity to secure a suitable provider to deliver a specialist healthcare tasks service that will provide competency based training and delegation of healthcare tasks to non-health qualified staff working with children and young people up to the age of 19.
