Tender description

Gas Networks Ireland has a requirement for the provision of engineering support and preventative maintenance services on the existing systems (constituted by both hardware and software) currently used by the 4 station control systems on Gas Network Ireland’s and GNI (UK)’s network. Gas Networks Ireland intends to award this contract on the basis of the negotiated procedure without a prior call for competition pursuant to art. 50(c) of the Directive. Yokogawa United Kingdom Ltd is the only economic operator capable of performing these services as it holds exclusive intellectual property rights to Yokogawa developed products (hardware) and associated Yokogawa analytical software for the existing Yokogawa station control systems in the Republic for Ireland and in the UK respectively.
