Contract for Provision of Extra Care Services at Greenbrook House and Brookside Schemes - RFQ 15219355,1

Tender description

The Authority is looking to appoint a Service Provider(s) to deliver Extra Care Services at two settings in Lancashire: • Lot 1 Greenbrook House is an Extra Care scheme located in Whitworth, East Lancashire with 24 hour care services. The scheme has 42 flats. • Lot 2 Brookside is an Extra Care scheme located in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. This is a large development with 111 self-contained apartments, including around 80 two bedroom apartments. Tenderer can apply for one or both Lots and can be successful in one or both Lots. The Contracts will be for an initial 2 years, with the option to extend for any period(s) of up to a maximum of a further 2 years. Extra care housing provides safe and secure self-contained accommodation for older adults who require varying levels of care and support to enable them to live independently in a home environment. The new Service is to deliver the Background Support and Emergency Response Service on a Block Arrangement as well as any require Planned Care and Support commissioned on a Spot Arrangement.
