CONSULTANT FOR SMART TECHNOLOGIES REVIEW AT CLANMIL SCHEMES

Clanmil Housing Group is one of Northern Ireland’s leading registered Housing Associations. Our mission is to provide great homes that strengthen communities with services that matter and we currently own and manage in excess of 5,000 properties throughout Northern Ireland. Clanmil believe that the clever use of technologies can enhance our tenants lives and allow tenants with conditions such as dementia to continue to enjoy independence while also providing protection. As such at two Clanmil schemes, Sydenham Court and Mullan Mews smart technologies have been included since the development of the scheme. We now believe that it is time to review these technologies and consider their functionality in a fast changing area. Clanmil require the services of a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer Led Consultancy Team for an initial condition, feasibility and options assessment and optional further assistance in the delivery of a refurbishment, upgrade or replacement project of the smart technologies at Sydenham Court and Mullan Mews. The initial assessment must include: • Audit & Appraisal of current smart technology systems at Sydenham Court and Mullan Mews, to include appraisal of system features and limits, current and future technical support availability and availability of replacement items and spare parts. • Appraisal of options with estimate costs to include feasibility of system upgrade or complete replacement. Further services required of the consultant team following the reporting stage may include: • Management of any works arising out of the above options appraisal to include development of technical specifications and tender documents and onsite management of contractor(s). • Provide detail drawing following options. The formal appointments between ClanmilHousing Association and the successful consultants shall be formally executed under the NEC3 Professional Services Contract.
