Tender description

The University of Derby (‘the University’) invites tenders from suppliers to provide a consignment stock service for its main stores function at the Kedleston Road Campus. In addition, suppliers who are successfully appointed under Lots 1 to 4 will be evaluated for Lot 5 against a shopping basket of items previously purchased in the past 12 months. We will appoint one supplier per lot. Suppliers should be advised that Lot 5 is not a stand alone lot and suppliers must be appointed to Lots 1 to 4 in order to be considered for Lot 5. General day to day electrical maintenance materials to support the stores function at the University of Derby's main Kedleston Road Campus. For Lot 5: ad-hoc purchases, deliveries may be required to any of the University of Derby sites including the Derbyshire Student Residences Ltd and Derby Theatre Ltd and Derby, Buxton, Leek and Chesterfield. The University is inviting tenders for the provision of a consignment stock service Lots 1 to 4 to support the stores function at our main Kedleston Road Campus and the provision of ad-hoc building materials Lot 5 for delivery to any of the University sites. Suppliers who are appointed for Lots 1 to 4 will be considered for Lot 5 and should note that Lot 5 is not a stand alone Lot and Suppliers cannot tender for Lot 5 alone. This will be initially for a 12-month period. There will be an option to extend this initial term by 12 months, each year, up to 3 times. Therefore, the maximum contract term is 4 years. General day to day joinery maintenance materials to support the stores function at the University of Derby's main Kedleston Road Campus. General day to day PPE supplies to support the stores function at the University of Derby's main Kedleston Road Campus. Ad-hoc buildling materials to include electrical, plumbing, joinery and PPE supplies to support the day to day maintenance of the University of Derby buildings across all of its sites.
