Translink are currently seeking responses for the treatment of invasive species. These are plants that are non-native to Northern Ireland and as such have no natural controls in place to reduce their spread. These species are often stronger and more territorially aggressive than native species and so they invade habitats of native species and cause native species to decline. The treatment of these invasive species of weed can be either, strimming, stem injection and or spraying. These treatments are all dependant on the type of invasive species that are to be managed. It is anticipated that the start date for treatment will be May 2019. Your proposal must be submitted within the eTendersNI portal, via this CfT. No other method of submission will be accepted.
