VisitBritain is looking for a Destination Management Organisation (DMO) representing a regional English destination that can support our strategic ambitions to grow regional visitor numbers and support regional route development. One of VisitBritain’s key responsibilities is to increase the volume of visitors to England’s regional destinations (outside of London). To this end, we are looking for a Destination Management Organisation (DMO) representing a regional English destination that can support our strategic ambitions to grow regional visitor numbers and support regional route development, specifically: — promote the destination through brand and marketing campaigns primarily across Great markets but with potential opportunities across core/nurture markets too, — sustain and attract additional capacity to the destination airport on targeted routes by encouraging more visitors to the region, — drive economic growth through incremental business and leisure tourism, — create and build awareness of the destination brand.
