United Utilities is currently undertaking market research/pre-market engagement and would be interested in hearing from suppliers who are able to provide services for the supply and delivery of LCV Racking as outlined within the specification below. If you have experience in this area please could you provide at a minimum the following information and submit to the united utilities regulatory procurement team mailbox: RegulatoryProcurementTeam@uuplc.co.uk — company name, — contact details, including location telephone and email address, main point of contact and position in company. United utilities will then use this information to help determine the overall approach and future strategy in relation to a future tender. Any subsequent procurement will be advertised at a later date via a separate notice. United utilities are looking for a supplier to supply and deliver light commercial vehicle racking and conversion materials. The material needs to be lightweight, rust resistant, durable and safe. The supplier will need to work with the company to design racking solutions as per specific water company job roles. The racking will be fitted by the company’s personnel, but the supplier will need to train the company personnel how to carry out the fitting and provide a fitting manual for each racking kit type. The racking must be supplied in a kit form, palletised in a way that enables the company to fit the components in the correct sequence to ensure the minimum amount of handling/picking. The racking is to be pre-assembled as much as possible so that the company simply need to fix it into place on the vehicle when delivered.
