Tender description
Hammersmith and Fulham council is looking to commission a model of advocacy in which a lead provider would work in partnership with other providers to deliver statutory advocacy for adults in the borough. The aim of the model is to provide a single point of contact for adult statutory advocacy services for the people of Hammersmith and Fulham, to develop the local social infrastructure of the borough, and provide key links into specialist advocacy services and those who have local knowledge of services. We want to streamline our arrangement and deal with one main provider who would have overarching responsibility on the outcomes and quality of the advocacy delivered by partners. When applying for tender providers should will need to show how their partnerships will be delivered. The aims of our commission will be talked about in more depth on Wednesday 31st July where we will be hosting a market event at 3 Shortlands, Hammersmith. This is also an opportunity to meet other providers and scope out opportunities for budding partnerships. The market event is not part of a pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information-gathering exercise offering an opportunity to inform our commissioning intentions and offer opportunities to forge innovative partnerships and begin thinking about service delivery models to achieve a wide range of outcomes. This therefore does not represent a commitment from Hammersmith & Fulham Council to award a contract or an invite to tender to any provider that expresses an interest in this event. To register for the market event and receive final details please contact Rebecca.Richardson@lbhf.gov.uk.
