Tender description
BCP Council is seeking a supplier to provide a range of water quality monitoring and research that relates to the water bodies in Poole Park, which is located near the town centre of Poole, Dorset, BH15 2SF The research and monitoring principally relates to the sluice-controlled saline lagoon covering 21.8Ha (53acres), but shall also include the two smaller freshwater lakes This research follows extensive construction works that have dredged all three water bodies, created new islands, extended bank edges, installed new edge retainment and a range of landscaping. This opportunity seeks to monitor the effects of the works and provide new ecological and water quality data. The funding for this research comes from the Heritage Fund and is part of the Poole Park Life project which ends in 2021. The period of research therefore covers three consecutive summers, remainder of 2019, 2020 and 2021. Keywords: water
