Added Value Portal t/a Pagabo, is working with the Red Kite Learning Trust to establish a framework of providers for the provision of mobile learning devices, networking solutions and cloud-based VoIP telephony within the UK for the Public Sector. It is proposed that the term of this Framework Agreement will be for a period of 3 years from 16.10.2019, with the option to extend for a further period of up to 1 year at the discretion of the Central Purchasing Body and subject to satisfactory performance. The procurement will involve a single stage process following a Public Contract Regulations 2015 Open Procedure. The framework shall be open to all public sector bodies within the UK, including: Schools, Academies, Further Education and Universities, Local Authorities, Police and Emergency Services, Leisure, NHS Organisations, Health and Social Care Providers, Central Government Departments and Agencies, The Corporate Officer of the House of Lords, The Corporate Officer of the House of Commons, Ministry of Defence, Housing Associations, Registered Charities, Regeneration, Libraries and Museums. Lot 1: Mobile Learning Devices This lot will focus on the enabling a client organisation to instigate a 1:1 learning solution through partnering with a reseller who is an approved education partner for products using either the Apple, Microsoft or Google operating systems. This lot will include the supply, maintenance and support of iPads and MacBook’s, tablets running the Windows 10 operating system, Chromebooks, associated protective cases and screen protectors, and any associated accessories along with a number of optional upgrades to all the aforementioned items. Lot 2: Networking Solutions This lot is for the design, supply and installation of both local network cabling system and subsystem components as well as wireless network technology. The wireless technology will need to be able to integrate and complement existing installations where feasible. The local network cabling system and subsystem components are to include cable, termination hardware, supporting hardware, and miscellany that will provide a complete cabling network that will support voice and data. The lot will also include the supply, maintenance and support of the server and other associated hardware required for the operation of a wireless and or cabling system along with a number of optional upgrades. Lot 3: Cloud based VoIP Telephony Solutions This lot is for the provision of, installation of and ongoing maintenance of a cloud-based VoIP telephony system. Lot 4: Mobile Device Charging Units This lot will cover the provision of both mobile charging units and charging cupboards. The charging units must be able to charge iPads, MacBooks, Surface tablets, other Windows 10 tablets and Chromebooks. Lot 5: Parental Contribution Software Providers shall have software available for the management of parental contributions. The areas that the software should cover include the following: — internet based, — collection of parent donations, — device asset management, — serial number tracking, — handling of insurance and warranty claims, — varying purchasing options, — based on a per device basis, — compatible with HMRC Gift Aid rules where applicable Solution based provision based on a cost per user device.
