Market engagement for the provision of a Day Centre for Gujarati Residents within the London Borough of Redbridge. The Aims and Objectives of the Service are to: • To provide a service to Gujarati residents that reduces isolation in the community and enhances wellbeing, quality of life and independence; • To refer Service Users to Adult Social Services if they are found to be isolated or at risk at home and in need of further advice, information, support or care; • To provide a variety of activities that are stimulating and informative, and that support independent living in the community. These activities shall reflect regular consultation and inclusive service planning undertaken with Service Users; • To ensure that the community is aware of the Service being provided through a communications plan that includes (but is not limited to: promotional information leaflets, presentations to other groups and at local events, and regular liaison with voluntary and statutory sector agencies.
