Tender description

London Borough of Hillingdon requires to establish a Framework of contractors to undertake minor building works for its shop front grant scheme. This scheme was launched in 2011 and since then some 227 grants with an accumulative value of over £800K have been awarded. To support continued implementation of the shopfront improvements we are looking to appoint a framework of competent and reliable building contractors, up to a maximum of 5, to undertake renovation and refurbishment works associated with the scheme. Once the Framework is established, contractors will be awarded shop front projects via a mini-competition each time based on 100% price each time. Commencement date: September 2019 Contract duration: 30 months Form of Contract: NEC3 - Engineering & Construction Short Contract Estimated contract value: c. £144K over the contract term
