The Design & Learning Centre for Clinical & Social Innovation was officially launched in 2016. We are funded by Health and Social care to co-design better, safer, cheaper and different care. The vision of the Design and Learning Centres is to make care better for people, by “making out-of-hospital care safer for both citizens and professionals”. Due to the work of the centre it needs to be seen as independent from KCC and therefore essential to have a non KCC website. The requirement is for a website that provides information about the Design and Learning and the work that we do, provides updates, news and allows people to engage through a virtual forum. There is a current site in place: https://designandlearningcentre.com/. The contract will soon expire; therefore we need a website effective from September 2019 and to increase the scope of the original contract for the website to reflect how the Design and Learning Centre has progressed over the last few years. The website is crucial in raising the profile of the Design and Learning Centre and the work we do. It needs to be easy to use, in line with our branding, load quickly, compatible with all search-engines and devices and simple for the Design and Learning Centre team to load and manage content.
