Tender description

Interim renewal of the Council's long standing learning disability framework for people with a learning disability, mental health and autism needs. Interim renewal of the Council's long standing learning disability framework for people with learning disability, mental health and autism needs. The Authority is operating this procurement under the light touch regime for social and other specific services,as set out in the PCR 2015, at Section 7 (Regulations 74 to 77) and Schedule 3. The Authority will make full use of the flexibility that the light touch regime affords both for tendering and operating the framework. The award is made for both the first year of the framework and the optional one year extension. The contract will be for a maximum of 2 years which will support a service redesign in conjunction with providers, carers, service users and professionals. Following that redesign the Council will advertise a longer term solution for the service.
