Tender description

Slough Borough Council wishes to engage with the market to gauge the interest in the delivery of an integrated health and well-being service for residents of Slough. The core purpose of the service is to improve the health and well-being outcomes of Slough residents by implementing an integrated health and well-being lifestyle service, including the following elements: smoking cessation, NHS health checks, alcohol brief interventions, falls prevention, sedentary behaviour change, and tier 2 child and adult weight management. This service will enable residents to take responsibility and control of their own care and enhance the collaboration between the local authority and health services at a local level. The aim of the day is to: — outline the needs of the borough, and what slough borough council are looking to commission, — give prospective suppliers, stakeholders and residents an opportunity to influence the service specification, — give stakeholders and residents an opportunity to network and engage directly with potential suppliers. The event will be held on Tuesday 23.7.2019, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Arbour Park Stadium.
