Tender description

Warwickshire CC have commissioned a single provider who will provide high quality information, advice and guidance, and enhanced needs-assessed support, to children and young people providing unpaid care. Through engagement with the service, young carers will be empowered to achieve their own potential and have an increased resilience to the negative outcomes associated with inappropriate caring responsibilities. The service will be accessible and meaningful to all young carers across Warwickshire using a variety of approaches including: Telephone, electronic, and web based / social media facilities Face-to-face support for young carers A website providing signposting and information will be available to any person or organisation who may need advice regarding support for young carers. The service will be available during office hours Monday - Friday throughout the year (excluding bank holidays). Digital information will be available at all times. Warwickshire CC have commissioned a single provider who will provide high quality information, advice and guidance, and enhanced needs-assessed support, to children and young people providing unpaid care. An open tender process was used. Applicants should be aware that volumes and block contract amounts may increase if additional funding becomes available or may decrease if funding reduces, during the term of the contract. During the course of the contract period the range and scope of these services may be subject to modification and variation as necessary to meet the changing needs and requirements of the Council and the changing demands placed on the Council by its customers.
