East West Railway Company Ltd — Conclusion of Rolling Stock Market Engagement Exercise

The purpose of this prior information notice is to advise the supply market that the rolling stock market engagement exercise previously advertised (Notice Ref: Supplies — 520924-2018) has now concluded (5.7.2019). It is the East West Railway Company's (EWR Co.) intention to begin a formal rolling stock procurement process in August 2019 (indicative date only). EWR Co. would like to thank all of the participants in the market engagement exercise for their support during this process. Now that the market engagement exercise has been concluded and a formal procurement process is set to begin, it is important that all interested parties including those that did not participate in the market engagement exercise do not contact anyone at EWR Co regarding Rolling Stock until the formal procurement process has been advertised and the route for communications specified. Failure to observe this instruction may exclude interested parties from the procurement process. Lot 1: The provision of Rolling Stock to The East West Railway Company Ltd. Please note that this is not an invitation to tender, and no direct business will be awarded as a result of publishing this notice. No response to this PIN is required. The East West Railway Company will not be bound to conduct a procurement exercise, and where it does commence a tender exercise, the East West Railway Company reserves the right to cancel the tendering process at any time.
