Tender description
High quality early years provision is key to enabling children to develop well, and to reach their potential. There is a wealth of evidence identifying the importance of the early stages of a child's life, and Medway Council recognises this importance within the Council Plan (2017/18 update); Supporting People to Realise their Potential is one of the Council's three core priorities. The Early Years support and moderation service will provide a range of support to childcare settings, childminders and Early Help Services in Medway, as outlined in section three of this specification.
