Tender description

The provision of signalling civils works (location case, signal bases and cable route works to support the main signalling project. This contract is for the advanced civils GRIP stage 5-8 design and construction of the works listed below: — cable route renovation, — new cable routing including lightweight concrete and elevated GRP types, — under track crossings, — sheet piled/concrete retaining walls Virginia water and sunningdale UTXs, — king post retaining walls with ballast boards, — standard ballast board retaining walls, — station platform duct routes and chambers, — signal foundations including precast and cast Insitu concrete (reinforced) pads and piled foundations, — retained signal structure foundation assessments, — signal structures including folding posts, standard posts, gantries and platform mounted off indicators, — and banners, — signal maintenance laydown areas, — SPT’s, ducts and walkways, — under road crossings, — signalling, FSP and Telecoms location case, bases and associated works, — PSP bases and compounds, — DNO cubicle bases (switch heating), — Kingston station bay platform alterations.
