Tender description

The University has a requirement to renew its current SAN Framework Agreement to supply equipment, software, support and services to replace and develop the current SAN Infrastructure. The University has a requirement to renew its current SAN Framework Agreement to supply equipment, software, support and services to replace and develop the current SAN Infrastructure. The objectives of the SAN Infrastructure Renewal tender are as follows: 1) Provide affordable ongoing storage provision for the University and a framework for future expansion and possible consolidation of the heterogeneous disparate storage environment; and 2) Provision of a next generation data storage solution and infrastructure that is scalable, flexible and resilient with the ability to meet the data storage demands placed on it by the needs of the University. We will be publishing a contract in the future for SAN Servers and associated software. Procurement processes will be due to start at the end of 2019 beginning of 2020. Please note this VEAT will cover the preiod 22.10.2019 — 21.10.2020.
