Tender description

The Lancashire and South Cumbria Collaboration is currently in the process of putting together a business case for Bacteriology automation, across the Lancashire and South Cumbria integrated care system (ICS). The Trusts in the collaboration are Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. The Lancashire Procurement Cluster are looking for potential providers, who could provide support to the business case process. This would entail, providing any consultation for the business analysis of the services across 4 trusts, which would help to understand the potential expected benefits (financial and non-financial) of adopting the technology. It is assumed that any such consultation would be provided free of charge at supplier’s expense. Those interested in providing support should be aware that, more than one provider may be chosen and that providing support is in no way a guarantee of any future business.
