The Supply, Repair and Calibration of Fluke Bio-tech Test Equipment

Tender description

Leidos Supply Ltd intends to award a single source framework for the Repair, Calibration and Servicing of Fluke Bio-Tech Test Equipment which are currently in service across the MoD. It also covers the replacement of Fluke Bio-Tech Test Equipment that is beyond economic repair. The agreement will be for the duration of 3 years. It is considered that this contract can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Article 32(b)(ii) of Directive 2014/24/EC of the European Parliament (Regulation 32(5)(b) of PCR 2015). This is because the manufacturer has confirmed that In the UK only Ultramedic Ltd are certified to fulfil this requirement. If a company was used that was not manufacturer approved then this could alter the performance characteristics of the equipment. This is as per the Voluntary ex ante transparency notice published on 07/05/2019, reference number 2019/S 090-215899.
