St Austell Townscape Heritage Scheme - Property Valuations

Tender description

The contract covers the provision of independent market valuations of target properties for the Townscape Heritage Scheme which is due to end in June 2022 The Townscape Heritage Scheme is a programme of conservation standard repairs and architectural and signage reinstatement works for properties within the St Austell Town Centre Conservation Area. Freehold owners and /or qualifying tenants of target properties are able to apply for grant-funding support from the Scheme. Funding for the programme is provided by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and local partners including Cornwall Council, St Austell Town Council and the St Austell Business Improvement District (BID). The valuations are required to set the baseline value of properties prior to grant-funded works and the value on completion as a means of determining whether there should be any 'clawback' of grant. It is anticipated that up to a maximum of 14 valuations at a maximum cost of £450 each (£6,300 in total) will be provided during the life of the programme. Keywords: Valuations, Conservation deficits
