Tender description

It is the intention for the following to be available under the terms of the Framework Agreement: Diagnostic imaging equipment, flexible and rigid endoscopes, radiotherapy devices and supplies, contrast injectors and consumables and related services and accessories, including warranty, point of sale maintenance, training, turnkey arrangements. Due to technological advancement, specifications will be reviewed, to enable the NHS to access to the latest products via the framework. New suppliers may be awarded on the framework due to this. More information on this is provided in the attached letter. This will be in conjunction with the 2 year extension. Precise quantities are unknown and is anticipated that initial expenditure will be between 229 194 000 GBP to 451 765 500 GBP in the first year of the extension period, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, turnkey arrangements between trusts and the equipment providers, warranty of equipment and loan & rental of equipment. Angiography systems including vascular, cardiac and neurology applications and all associated options related to imaging equipment. This lot will also include Hemodynamic monitoring. Fluoroscopy systems and all associated options related to imaging equipment. Hybrid operating surgical theatres that are equipped with advanced medical imaging diagnostic systems. Mobile image intensifiers (MII) including flat panel detector and mini C-Arm systems and all associated options related to imaging equipment. Radiotherapy treatment systems including linear accelerators, image guided IMRT systems with treatment planning, brachytherapy, superficial X-ray, MR Linac and unique oncology systems and all associated options related to this equipment. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, turnkey arrangements between trusts and the equipment providers & warranty of equipment. Radiotherapy IT solutions including record and verify, treatment planning, simulation, oncology information and all other radiotherapy related software, hardware, systems and associated options. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, turnkey arrangements between trusts and the equipment providers, warranty of equipment and rental and loan of equipment. Radiotherapy ancillary devices including positioning aids, quality assurance (QA) and dosimeter devices and all other radiotherapy associated options. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, warranty of equipment and loan & rental of equipment. Permanent brachytherapy seeds and associated accessories. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as training and warranty of product. Contrast Injectors for use with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), angiography,cardiovascular, positron emission tomography computed tomography (PET CT) systems and all associated options linked to this equipment and contrast injector consumables for use with the full range of contrast injectors. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, warranty of equipment and loan & rental of equipment. Flexible endoscopes and all associated devices and options linked to this equipment. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, warranty of equipment and loan & rental of equipment. ENT endoscopes and all associated devices and options linked to this equipment. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, warranty of equipment and loan & rental of equipment. Lithotripters and all associated options related to this equipment. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, turnkey arrangements between trusts and the equipment providers & warranty of equipment. Rigid and semi rigid endoscopes covering endoscopes, camera systems and associated equipment. This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as point of sale maintenance, training, turnkey arrangements between trusts and the equipment providers & warranty of equipment. The Framework Agreement is for the design, supply, delivery, installation, project management and commissioning of a fully integrated operating theatre system for high definition endoscopic surgery. The theatre must as a minimum include a camera stack system, booms and lights and system integration equipment. Project management will include the provision of full user training, post-installation support options and responsibility for and management of sub-contractors and other service providers. Surgical navigation systems, accessories and associated options with this equipment for use in surgery.
