Inspection, Overhaul and Refurbishment of Dry & Wet Gas Compressor Seals, bearings and compressors at SWSOS Compressor Stations and MCS

Tender description

This Qualification System will be designed to allow for the assembly of a multi-supplier panel with competent entities whose capabilities include, but are not limited to, completing the inspection, overhaul and required refurbishment of gas seal and compressor bundles at Midleton Compressor Station (“MCS”) in Ireland and , Beattock Compressor Station and Brighouse Bay Compressor Station (together “SWSOS”) in Scotland. An outline of the required works includes: • Disassembly and removal of compressor bundle and seals. • Transport of materials to and from site • Inspection /repair/refurbishment/replacement of seals • Inspection /repair/refurbishment/replacement of thrust and journal bearings • Replacement of soft spares • Non-destructive testing and possible repair/replacement of compressor components • Dynamic and static testing of seals • Rebalancing and re-commissioning at site of refurbished compressor bundle. • Up to three compressor bundles and six seals at Midleton Compressor Station • Up to ten Compressor bundles and twenty seals at Beattock Compressor Station and Brighouse Bay Compressor Station in SWSOS • Provision of all requisite certification including testing, material and inspection records
