Tender description

NHS Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth CCGs invited suitably experienced and capable providers in the provision of a community ophthalmology service for patients across Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth. NHS Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth CCGs invited suitably experienced and capable providers in the provision of a community ophthalmology service for patients across Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth. The CCGs wished to award a single contract for an initial 3 years anticipated to run from 1.11.2019 to 31.10.2022 with the option of 1 further extension of up to 2 years, i.e. potentially for 5 years. Following completion of the procurement NHS Merton CCG and NHS Wandsworth CCG have awarded a contract, but without NHS Sutton CCG being a party to the contract at this time. The contract does however reserve the right for NHS Sutton CCG to become party to the contract at a future time. The awarded contract will ensure delivery of services to patients in Merton and Wandsworth only (and not Sutton at this time), with the expectation for lower contract value due to Sutton not being party to the contract at this time.
